It's Been Swell
I know this project is called 365, but this year's a leap year so you have another entry to read! Surprise! :-)
To be honest, I'm going to miss writing on this blog. It has been so much fun! It's kept me busy over the last twelve months. More importantly, it's helped me stay sane. I had one more thing to look forward to every day. I didn't expect to get attached to it (is that weird?). I'm actually pretty choked. During this year, I've realized that I like actually really writing and taking pictures. For this reason, I have started a new blog. It won't be an everyday thing like celinesayshello, but I'll update it every few days and post pictures. My first upload will be photos from my trip, so stay tuned! Visit my new blog: cbee
It's been a crazy year. It's been good to me in it's own ways. It feels like I've learned so much about myself. I realized which people really matter to me, and that . But at the same time, I've had my heart broken a few times. Here are the life lessons I've learned this year:
- Winning isn't everything - it's how you do it that really matters.
- No news isn't always good news. No news can just mean someone just doesn't care.
- The bro code doesn't apply to chicks
- When you're excited or anxious, your BM will know... it ALWAYS know.
- Don't let one unfortunate turn of events make you decide impulsively. Most of the time, it's not your heart and mind deciding, it's something more external (if you catch my drift)
The last one I realized during my travel:
Nobody likes to travel on Christmas evening. If the weather is fine and you're going somewhere domestic, you don't need to be there two hours before your flight leaves. Nobody will be at the airport. NOBODY.

I appreciate everyone who's checked out my blog and read my silly movie reviews and random rants. I'm so thankful to everyone who listened to my weird choice in music, checked out my trip photos and endured my food porn. I LOVE hearing all the compliments that you enjoyed some of my words of non-wisdom and my photos! Thank you everyone! It's been swell! Let 2013 kick more butts!!!! I gotta finish my second bowl of pasta for carbo-loading, then then I'm gonna drink the night away. And make sure you check out my new blog at http://cbeewrites.wordpress.com/
Last Beach Day
After literally 30 minutes of sleep, Dianne and I drove Rovi to the airport. We didn't have a proper goodbye because we were all pretty tired and didn't want to deal with our emotions. LOL!
Got home, slept for another two hours, then we had to wake up and get ready for the day. Drove down to Huntington for brunch with my family (photos to come!!). I was super glad to see them cause I haven't seen them in a year and a half! Met my newest second cousin who's super duper cute!!
Drove back up to LA and picked up one of my very good friends Kim, who happens to be visiting town. We've been friends since grade 5, (I think?) and she's easily one of my closest friends who has known and witnessed EVERYTHING about me. It's funny cause we haven't seen each other in almost 9 years (except for the time I briefly ran into her in Manila), and we just clicked right on again so easily. I sometimes dread meeting up with old friends because I'm afraid that our chemistry might not work anymore but we just hit it off so easily! She's the sweetest girl ever! Love you, Kim!!!

Something (not HA-HA) funny happened last night. One of my philosophies in life is, if you don't have anything nice to say, just shut the hell up and carry on (that's my new t-shirt design, btw, trademark! HAHA!). I have been working on this project for literally a year. I know a few people who read my blog everyday (Hi Kim, Hi Carmine!). A couple of times I've gotten carried away with my emotions and have written some pretty heavy and emotional shit. The thing is, I've never had anybody control what I should or shouldn't write about. That's been the case, up until last night. Ya know, after about 364 write ups, 'someone' told me that I should stop writing about a certain topic because her friends doesn't like what they're reading in my blog or my tweets. Honestly (and to put this lightly and delicately), I think they should get a life of their own and fuck off! I don't understand why they're even checking out my blog if they don't like what they're seeing. The funny thing is, I haven't written anything about this 'topic' in the last week or so, so I don't know if they actually scanned through my blog just so they can bitch and whine. I think they should just fuck off and carry on (this is my second new t-shirt design). Haters gonna be hating all day everyday. :-)

And the Adventure Continues
Still super tired from yesterday's adventure. Was running on super low battery all day, but the three servings of coffee helped me through the day. We put our tourist pants on and we hit Hollywood, The Grove, the Farmer's Market, Rodeo Drive, had dessert at The Wilshire Hotel, saw my favourite god mother, then hit In-n-Out for some fatty food. It was awesome.

Six Flags
Went to Six Flags today! It was pretty awesome. I'm usually a big chicken when it come to roller coasters that are higher than ten feet, but my very peer pressuring supportive friends helped me through every ride. Did I mention I'm getting sick and it was super freezing all day!! Didn't really help with my already sore throat and constant sneezing. My favourite would probably be the Goliath and the Tatsu. It was great cause I was able to scream out all my frustrations in life for the whole super annoying, frustrating and insane year. It felt pretty good. Best way to end the year!!
At the end of the night, we met up with my bessy Robby for some Mexican food and some drinks. It was <3.

Underestimated
Felt super nostalgic all day going around Venice and Santa Monica. Oh well, c'est la vie! Today was pretty good! We did a buttload of things, and still had time to watch Les Miserable. I really liked the movie, despite sitting on the second row of the cinema (never imagined I could sit super close to Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway). It's a must see, but it's about two and a half hours long. Oh. and there was a lot of singing.
By the way, I might have underestimated the weather here. I didn't pack enough warm clothes, but I'm hoping to survive with a spring coat on.
